Make an adorable paper craft with a free printable gingerbread house template!

Print out the coloring page of the gingerbread house template, color and cut all the parts and create a cute gingerbread house ornament. It’s a fun Christmas activity that you can make with your kids.

How to make DIY gingerbread house with free printable template:

What you need:

• The free printable gingerbread template (fits letter size or A4 paper) – download PDF or download JPEG
• Scissors
• Glue
• Colors (markers / crayons / colored pencils)

Step 1:

Print out and color the printable gingerbread house template.

Step 2:

Cut out all the parts of the gingerbread house.

Step 3:

Fold the walls of the gingerbread house along the dashed lines.

Step 4:

Apply glue on the glue tab and close the walls together.

Step 5:

Fold the roof along the dashed lines.

Step 6: 

Glue the roof to the designated glue tabs.

Step 7: 

Make the hanger:

A. Fold the hanger in half.
B. Apply glue to the to the inside of the hanger, only around the fold (not on the flaps).
C. Paste the two sides together, leaving the flaps detached.
D. Apply glue to the bottom of the flaps and paste the hanger on the top of the roof.

Step 8:

Punch a hole in the hanger and add a cute ribbon or string.

And it’s done!
