Printable nativity scene to color
Making this paper nativity set is easy! The cuts and the folds are simple, there aren’t many steps, and the process is fun. Blow you’ll find the printable step-by-step instructions for making your DIY nativity set. The printable template for this Christmas craft is free, all you have to do it subscribe and the files will land in your mailbox.
What you’ll need:
- White craft paper to print on
- Scissors
- Stick glue
- Colored pencils / crayons / markers
- This printable nativity scene kit
Step 1:
Color and cut the illustrations. you can leave the little stripes blank, as they will be glued behind the characters.
Step 2:
Score along the dashed lines to make it easy to fold.
To score, pass the dull edge of a butter knife along the dashed lines. Press the knife gently to create a soft crease.
Step 3:
Fold along the dashed lines.
Fold the tabs of the stable inwards, and the roof backwards.
Step 4:
Glue the roof to the tabs of the stable.
Step 5:
Slit the tab at the front of the roof. Apply some glue on it and paste the star.
Shine bright, star!
Step 6:
Fold the paper stripes in half, then fold their tabs outwards.
Step 7:
Glue the folded stripes to the back of the characters. Make sure you place the stripes close to the bottom of the character, so the character can stand nice and straight.
And that’s it! Your DIY nativity set is ready to be displayed!
