Autumn leaves, pumpkins, scarecrows and pies – autumn is a fun season to illustrate. I turned some of my illustrations into autumn coloring pages for kids that you can download and print at home for free.
While creating this set of autumn coloring pages I was thinking about my ambivalent relationship with fall. On one hand, I’m in love with summer and I get really down when it ends. On the other hand, autumn symbols are so pretty and cute that I just want to fill my house with artificial acorns. Unfortunately, autumn decorations are a bit hard to get here, because in my country autumn is just an extension of summer and there are no red autumn leaves or lantern pumpkins. And that’s why my trips to other countries around fall always include a tour to the home decor store, where I grab acorns like a squirrel.
Drawing some classic autumn scenes makes me feel that I get my share of this beautiful season. I hope these autumn coloring pages will make you a little bit excited for the arrival of fall!
