The little goal is having my own website, of course. For years I have been told that I should, need, MUST get myself a website, and generally drop my dinosaur-chic, which is a very un-chicy chic of living in the pre-technological era.
The truth is, I simply felt that the time for me to conquer a domain did not come yet. I was very busy creating illustrations for microstock sites and drawing comic strips for a children’s magazine. I felt that there is still a lot to learn and experience in those two things before I can move on.
The second reason was that as time passed, illustrating for microstock sites became my main activity, and I earned enough money to live happily while still having time to do the things I like. Honestly, I was very comfy cozy in my little spot and didn’t really feel like expanding my activity.
So what changed that made me get a website? Well, I started feeling that I actually DO want to expand my activity. I was volcanically-filled with creativity and artistic passion, and wanted to try out new and shiny things. I took advanced digital illustrating lessons, got into making greeting card , opened my Etsy store and revived my good old lust for writing.
That’s when I started feeling that I want to creep out of my safe, isolated den and actively share me art with the world.
I want to create books and have people read them. I want to make greeting cards and have people give them to friends. I want to enjoy some craft-making and share the fun with those who like it the way I do.
So here we are!
I hope you enjoy my website and come to check the new things from time to time.
see you around 🙂
