Today I’m happy to tell you about a new printable Purim craft in my shop: Purim basket to make and color. This is a printable template for making a DIY Purim basket, decorated with Purim symbols, and ready to be filled with hamantaschen and sweets.
Purim baskets are a big part of the holiday. They are parcels of sweets (known as ‘Mishloach Manot’) which everyone gives and receives during Purim. A fun tradition as is, but we are going to double up the joy by bringing in busy little hands! 🖍️✂️
Handmade Purim Basket – Printable Craft for Kids
This printable Purim basket craft is a win-win: it’s both a fun activity and a useful DIY basket for your Mishloach Manot. The template is simple and easy to use, so even younger kids can make it. Just print, color, and then fold it up into a Purim basket that’s ready to hold all delicious treats.

The template is designed to be easy to print, and the step-by-step instructions make it a breeze to assemble. Kids will love coloring and decorating the basket before folding it into a beautiful, functional Purim basket.
You can print the template as many times as you need, so you can make a bunch of these baskets for your Mishloach Manot gifts. It’s a wonderful way to add a personal, creative touch to the holiday!
Here’s how to make your own Purim basket craft:
First, print and color the Purim basket template. Then, follow the steps below to assemble the basket:
1. Cut out the pieces of your Purim basket from the printable template.
2. Cut along the lines between the bottom flaps to separate them (don’t cut on the dashed line).
3. Fold along the dashed lines, Keeping the pictures on the outside.
4. Use GLUE TAB1 to attach the two basket pieces together, and GLUE TAB2 to close up the basket.
5. Glue the bottom flaps one on top of the other to seal the basket’s bottom.
6. Attach the handle with a stapler, and it’s done! Add treats and sweets to complete your own Mishloach Manot 🧺🍬😊
