Today I learnt that there are 50 different species of clover in my country, Israel. I thought clovers only grew in lush places like Ireland, not in half-desert countries like mine!
Collecting facts and general knowledge is one of my hobbies. Perhaps it’s the result of a childhood spent between mountains of illustrated encyclopedias and National Geographic issues. It might be what eventually led me to become a deputy editor in a children’s magazine and fill it with articles about all the wonders of the world! Oh, the joy!
Now that I have my own corner of the internet, I can create more content that combines knowledge and fun. For the upcoming Irish holiday, I want to share a free page from my creative project: The Clever Explorer’s Activity Book. It’s a book with lots of puzzles and games mixed with cool trivia facts.
Boy, I had fun making this book! I enjoyed searching for the best facts, creating challenging puzzles and drawing all the images. The book contains 78 black and white pages (including solutions to all of the puzzles) and is suitable for kids age 6 and up.
